New Jersey has designated AHA (American Heart Association) offices and instructors who provide medical consultation including recommendations for those interested in earning their PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification. Local classes can help to teach you essential procedures that book-learning by itself cannot. You can also take the New Jersey AHA-certified PALS exam which consists of a 14 hour program that requires preparation and skills pretesting.
