The Pediatric Advanced Life Support course is offered through AHA-sponsored providers and state-designated providers throughout Iowa. The American Heart Association requires the individual arrive to take the test in person at a location that is monitored by administrators that are approved. If you are located near the AHA offices in Cedar Rapids, Des Moines or Sioux City, we suggest you use the contact info supplied if you have questions that pertain to the local testing opportunities in these areas. The course runs roughly 14 hours and requires a skills assessment and written exam to earn a certificate that is AHA approved.
